Profile: Power System Services Ltd.
Power System Services is a well established engineering company based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire with a turnover approaching six million pounds. Our primary market is the power generation market where we manufacture air heater elements and provide overhaul and maintenance of equipment to the majority of the coal fired power stations in the UK. Our major customers are EDF, Eon, Scottish Power, Doosan Babcock and British Sugar.

We have a large modern fabrication facility in Chesterfield with over 40,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Our skilled workforce have experience of a large variety of fabrications including walkways, ducting, lifting frames, handrails, conveyors, tanks, hoppers etc. Our factory facilities include CNC punching and bending machines, profile cutting and all other standard fabrication equipment. We now offer laser cutting services at a separate factory "Power System Laser Cutting Services" where we have a 5KW machine with a 4m x 2m cutting bed.
We also provide an installation service and have been involved in plant relocation. One of our projects involved the removal of six large tanks from one British Sugar site to another. We are also just embarking on the installation of a boiler plant in Manchester.
We are an ISO9001 registered business and have a strong safety culture. All our managers are NEBOSH trained and we ensure that safety remains a key factor in the running of the company.
