Seal Solutions
Checks can be made on seal condition during any short outages occurring between major overhauls as part of the total package we offer our customers.
The condition of the existing sealing system is reported to the engineer and proposals made to produce better thermal performance of the Preheater.
If the Engineer feels that the recommendations given which may involve Power System Services patented Sealing options, then the suggestions can be implemented during the Major Overhaul.
Development
Each Air Heater exhibits different characteristics and therefore has to be dealt with individually.
For each example, we generate a case study which investigates the optimum solution for each situation. Test modelling in consultation with Sheffield Hallam University has produced excellent results at Power System Stations at home and abroad.
